Callum Wilson pens long-term Bournemouth deal

Bournemouth announce that forward Callum Wilson has penned a new long-term contract at the Vitality Stadium.

Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson has penned a new long-term contract at the Vitality Stadium.

Wilson has spent the last four seasons at the south-coast club, with a total of 43 goals being scored in 115 appearances for the Cherries in all competitions.

The 26-year-old has suffered two serious knee injuries during his time at Bournemouth, but the forward has now penned fresh terms to extend his stay at the club until 2022.

Wilson told the club's official website: "I'm delighted to sign. It's nice to see that the hard work I've put in be rewarded and I'm excited about the future.

"During my time at the club I feel like I've developed as a player, both physically and mentally. I've progressed and learnt a lot about the game and that position I play."

Last season, Wilson contributed eight goals and two assists in 28 outings in the Premier League.
