Nottingham Forest and Bristol City go into half-time all level at 0-0 as both sides look for a valuable three points in the race against relegation.

Nottingham Forest and Bristol City have gone into the half-time interval all level at 0-0 at the City Ground.

The hosts were the team that looked most like scoring in an uneventful first half an hour, with Dexter Blackstock coming closest with a header that looped over Dean Gerken's crossbar.

Blackstock was then inches away from connecting with Chris Gunter's dangerous ball across the six-yard box, but he was well marshalled and the danger passed.

Andy Reid then saw his venomous effort saved by Gerken before Radoslaw Majewski chose to go for goal when he had teammates in better positions, only to see his shot miss by some distance.

Both sides will be looking for a more positive second half, with a draw keeping Forest in 20th position in the Championship, while City would remain in the bottom three.
