Half-Time Report: Nottingham Forest ahead against Queens Park Rangers

Nottingham Forest lead Queens Park Rangers 1-0 in this evening's Championship clash at the City Ground.

Nottingham Forest are leading Queens Park Rangers 1-0 in this evening's Championship clash at the City Ground.

Greg Halford should have given the hosts the lead, but after being played through on goal, he was denied by Robert Green.

He had another chance soon after, however he fired over the bar when well-placed just inside the box.

Henri Lansbury was next to threaten for the home side when he cut in from the left and fired a strike just wide of the post.

Forest took the lead in the 29th minute of the match when Halford headed in Djamel Abdoun's cross from close range.

QPR's best chance of the half came when Niko Kranjcar did well to work some space for himself just outside the box, but he placed his curling effort wide.
