Midfielder Emi Buendia has agreed to leave Getafe in order to sign a deal with Norwich City.
Buendia spent his youth career at Real Madrid and Getafe but despite making 35 senior appearances for the latter, the Argentine was loaned out to second-tier outfit Cultural Leonesa.
The playmaker contributed six goals and 11 assists during the most recent campaign and it has led to Norwich moving to bring in the South American on a four-year contract.
The 21-year-old told the club's official website: "I'm very happy to join Norwich City. It's a new adventure and a new project and it's something I'm very excited about.
"It's a great club and a big club with a good project. The aim is to get back into the Premier League and as I said before, I'm very happy to be here.
"I've always liked English football. The atmosphere and the stadiums are amazing and from when I was a little boy, I've always wanted to play in England."
Buendia has previously represented Spain Under-19s and Argentina Under-20s at international level.
