Everton goalkeeper Joel Robles 'nears Getafe move'

Everton goalkeeper Joel Robles is said to be on the verge of a return to Spain with Getafe.

Everton goalkeeper Joel Robles is reportedly on the verge of a move to Spanish side Getafe.

The 27-year-old is in talks with the La Liga club, who view him as a potential replacement for Vicente Guaita, according to the Daily Mail.

Guaita is expected to leave Getafe this summer, with Crystal Palace said to be on the brink of bringing him to the Premier League.

Robles, who is available on a free transfer, joined Everton in 2013 when he followed his former Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez to Goodison Park.

The Spaniard has played 65 games for the Toffees during his five-year stint there.
