Norwich City manager Neil Adams has hinted that goalkeeper Mark Bunn could leave the club this summer.
The 29-year-old was left out of Adams's 24-man squad that is currently in Italy for pre-season training and friendly encounters.
When asked about the keeper's situation at Carrow Road, Adams conceded that Bunn has grown frustrated at a lack of playing time.
"Mark's situation is he is in the last year of his contract here and he wants to play first-team football and rightly so. I can understand that," Adams told the Eastern Daily Press. "I thought it was a good opportunity to bring Remi Matthews out along with Declan [Rudd] and have them competing for the number one shirt.
"Mark is in that mix as well but it is better for him to play and train with the Under-21s rather than come out here and play 45 minutes perhaps in nine days. It is in the best interests of the player and I feel we are well covered in that department."
Bunn joined Norwich from Blackburn Rovers in the summer of 2012.
