Hudderfield Town have had Murray Wallace sent off during a goalless first half against Norwich City.
Wallace was dismissed on 17 minutes, having been played into trouble by Mark Hudson's error.
With Cameron Jerome trying to capitalise on Hudson's weak pass, last-man Wallace brought him down and saw red for the second time this season.
Things had started brightly for Town, when former Norwich striker Grant Holt had an early opportunity to slide Nahki Wells in on goal, but overhit his pass as the chance wen begging.
The home side went straight up the other end, with Bradley Johnson almost getting a toe on the end of a Gary Hooper cross, before having another effort sting the palms of Alex Smithies.
Wells in the thick of the action and came closest to scoring in the 12th minute when he hit the crossbar.
Having had his first attempt blocked by John Ruddy, the forward crashed his rebound against the woodwork, leaving the Canaries able to scramble clear.
Following the sending off, City were the side in the ascendancy and Hooper had a decent header well saved by Smithies before Jonny Howson shot wide.
Neil Adams's men continued to boss possession, though they could not find a breakthrough, with Jerome wasting their best chance via a free header.
