Martin O'Neill says that he will not consider the Northern Ireland job but is looking for a return to club management.

Former Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill is not considering taking over from Nigel Worthington as Northern Ireland manager.

The 59-year-old was rumoured to be an option for the IFA. However, the former Celtic boss has denied any approach but revealed that he is considering a return to management, according to BBC Radio Ulster.

O'Neill, who was once Northern Ireland captain, racked up 64 appearances for the side during his playing career.

Meanwhile, Gerry Armstrong and Iain Dowie have been touted as possible replacements for Nigel Worthington.
