Al Nasr forward Abderrazak Hamdallah has reportedly been identified as a potential transfer target by Aston Villa and Newcastle United.
The 29-year-old has emerged as the star of Saudi Arabia's top flight, scoring 52 goals from 45 appearances across the last two seasons.
According to Foot Mercato, the Morocco international's form has led to interest from Villa and Newcastle.
At a time when the latter could be taken over by a Saudi Arabia-based consortium, an approach from the Magpies appears logical.
The report claims that the attacker would cost in the region of €18m (£15.76m), despite his lack of experience at a higher level.
Hamdallah's only previous period in Europe came in 2013, when he scored 19 goals from 30 outings for Norwegian side Aalesund.
