Report: Newcastle United want Fabian Delph, Andreas Weimann

A report claims that Newcastle United want to sign Aston Villa pair Fabian Delph and Andreas Weimann this summer.

Newcastle United are reportedly preparing a £15m double swoop for Aston Villa pair Fabian Delph and Andreas Weimann.

Magpies boss Alan Pardew is expected to have funds available to spend this summer after a series of injuries stunted his side's progress in the second half of the season.

According to The Mirror, Pardew is a keen admirer of the Villa duo and has instructed owner Mike Ashley to make £15m available for the pair this summer.

Villa reportedly value Weimann, who has also been linked with a move to Everton, in the region of £9m.
