Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has admitted that one more signing would be the "icing on the cake" for the club ahead of the new Premier League season.
The Magpies added Ajax midfielder Vurnon Anita to their ranks on Thursday following the arrivals of Romain Amalfitano, Gael Bigirimana and Curtis Good.
"We might need another one yet, but for sure [Anita] has strengthened us," Pardew told reporters.
"I wouldn't mind [the transfer window] closing now - I'd be quite happy to keep all my players. But if we manage to add another one that would be the icing on the cake really."
Newcastle kick off the new campaign at home to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
