Newcastle United are reportedly weighing up a move for Sampdoria striker Stefano Okaka.
The Magpies are said to be looking to bolster their attacking options further after completing the signing of Georginio Wijnaldum from PSV Eindhoven.
Okaka joined Sampdoria from Parma in the summer of 2014 and scored four league goals for the Blucerchiati last season.
The 25-year-old has reportedly attracted the interest of Premier League sides Southampton and Stoke City this summer.
It has also been reported that the Italy international has turned down a switch to newly-promoted Watford.
According to Gazzetta TV, Newcastle have been scouting Okaka and have opened talks with Sampdoria.
Okaka has won one cap for Italy.
