Newcastle United have reportedly held preliminary talks with Tenerife youngster Ayoze Perez over a summer move.
The 20-year-old forward, who scored 16 goals in 33 games last season, is understood to have a £2m release clause in his contract with the Spanish side.
However, Porto, Everton and Swansea City are all thought to be interested in signing Perez, according to The Chronicle.
The striker is expected to hold talks with other clubs over the coming weeks before deciding his future.
Meanwhile, Montpellier midfielder Remy Cabella recently expressed a desire to join the Magpies for next season.
