The well-publicised release clause that is written into Demba Ba's Newcastle United contract will reportedly expire at the end of July.
It has previously been said that a bid of around £7m would be enough to take the Senegalese striker from the Sports Direct Arena.
However, under the terms of Ba's deal, the Magpies can up their asking price to an estimated £15m in August.
Turkish club Galatasaray are believed to be extremely interested in signing the 27-year-old, who joined Newcastle last summer on a free transfer.
