Alan Pardew is pleased to let Moussa Sissoko's football do the talking for him.

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has praised match-winning midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

Sissoko netted twice to give Newcastle a 3-2 win after they were 2-1 down to Chelsea on Saturday and Pardew had nothing but praise.

"I don't need to say anything because his performance said it all," BBC Sport quotes Pardew as saying.

"I remember watching him for Toulouse 14 months ago, and I thought he was the one for us. We watched him and set our sights on him for a long time.

"We accelerated [the deal] because he was going to come in the summer and he's paying us back handsomely."

Newcastle moved up to 15th with the win.
