The 28-year-old spent last season on loan at Roma, but the club declined to sign him on a permanent basis.
According to Sportitalia, Astori will arrive in Naples on Wednesday to complete a transfer worth a reported €5m (£3.5m).
Astori has made 10 appearances for the Italian national side.
