Roma have confirmed the loan signing of Cagliari Calcio's Colombian striker Victor Ibarbo on a one-year deal for a £3.6m fee.
The 25-year-old returns to the Giallorossi after spending the latter part of last season with the club, making 11 appearances.
The forward's one-year deal will have the option to be made into a permanent move for an extra £5.7m (€8m).
"Roma announces that it has reached an agreement with Cagliari for the transfer of Victor Ibarbo on a one-year loan deal until June 30, 2016," a statement read on Roma's official website.
"Cagliari will be paid a fixed loan fee of €5m, potentially rising to €6m (£4.3m) in bonuses relating to the performance of AS Roma and the player himself.
"The deal also includes an option to make the deal permanent at the end of the 2015-16 season for a fee of €8m."
The deal is the second signing the Serie A club have made so far in the window, after capturing the former Tottenham Hotspur forward Iago Falque earlier this summer.
