Report: Montpellier HSC secure M'Baye Niang loan

Reports in Italy suggest that AC Milan forward M'Baye Niang will join Montpellier HSC on a six-month loan deal.

Montpellier HSC have reportedly landed M'Baye Niang on a six-month loan deal from AC Milan.

The 19-year-old forward has managed just one start in Serie A this season and La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Rossoneri are willing to let him leave to find first-team football.

La Paillade are on the lookout for a new striker with Djamel Bakar out for the season, and reports have also linked them with former Liverpool, Sunderland and Queens Park Rangers man Djibril Cisse.

Montpellier are 17th in Ligue 1, five points clear of the drop zone.
