Kenny Jackett rues poor defending in Peterborough loss

Millwall boss Kenny Jackett rues his side's poor defending in their 5-1 home loss to Peterborough United.

Millwall boss Kenny Jackett has revealed that he is disappointed with his side's defending in their 5-1 loss to Peterborough United.

The Posh moved off the bottom of the table with the rampant win at The Den thanks to a brace from Lee Tomlin and strikes from George Boyd, Tommy Rowe and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing.

Jackett told reporters: "We did not have the awareness that Peterborough were capable of breaking at us - they were incisive and looked like they had goals in them from start to finish.

"We had nowhere near enough defensive awareness to keep them out. At half time, I was looking for a big second-half and a big win to come from behind."

Millwall are 14th in the Championship following their defeat and are 10 points adrift of the playoffs.
