Middlesbrough are reportedly in talks with West Ham United over a potential loan move for striker Jordan Hugill.
Hugill moved to East London for £9.5m in January from Preston North End, but the 26-year-old has not made a single start for the club since joining.
As chairman David Sullivan reportedly closes in on the £4m signing of Arsenal's Lucas Perez, Hugill could become surplus to requirements under new manager Manuel Pellegrini.
According to Sky Sports News, Hugill could spend next season on loan at Boro as the former Port Vale player seeks regular playing time on the pitch.
The Championship side are on the look-out for a replacement for forward Patrick Bamford, who secured a £7m move to Leeds United this summer.
