A report claims that Zinedine Zidane still has faith in Paul Pogba, despite the midfielder failing to impress in Manchester United's heavy loss to Barcelona.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has reportedly not been put off making a move for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, despite his disappointing display against Barcelona in midweek.

Madrid are looking to massively revamp their squad in the summer transfer window, and the 26-year-old is one of a few high-profile names being mentioned as a possible target.

Pogba has enjoyed a much better second half of the season compared to the first, but he produced a shoddy performance in United's 3-0 loss to Barcelona on Tuesday evening, which was considered an audition of sorts.

According to The Sun, however, the ex Juventus-ace remains on Zidane's wishlist as the Frenchman sees his compatriot as the best number eight around.

Los Blancos are also believed to be closing in on Chelsea forward Eden Hazard, who like Pogba has talked up an end-of-season switch to the Bernabeu.
