Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has reportedly reached an agreement to join Manchester United.
The Premier League side's supposed pursuit of the Chilean international has dominated the headlines over recent weeks, with Louis van Gaal thought to have identified Vidal as the ideal player to bolster his midfield options.
Last night, Juventus's managing director Giuseppe Marotta insisted that the club had no intention of parting with the 27-year-old.
However, according to Chilean broadsheet El Mecurcio, Vidal has accepted a salary offer from United, who now need to agree a fee with their Italian counterparts.
It is thought that Vidal would be content to remain in Turin should Juve reject United's advances.
