Manchester United have reportedly prepared an offer for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal.
The Red Devils have been linked with the Chilean international for the majority of the summer, but any chance that he would sign on at Old Trafford appeared to have ended on Thursday when he played down the speculation.
However, United have not been perturbed by those comments and will instead submit a bid of £47m to their Italian counterparts over the coming days, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport.
The report added that United plan to tempt the 27-year-old to make the switch by offering to double the wages that currently receives in Turin.
His agent, Fernando Felicevich, is expected to discuss Vidal's future with Juventus in the near future.
