Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer rumours, including Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to Napoli, Mehdi Taremi to Inter Milan and Tommy Conway to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Napoli have reportedly entered the race to sign Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg during the January transfer window.

The 28-year-old has fallen down the pecking order in North London since the arrival of manager Ange Postecoglou, starting just six of his 16 Premier League appearances so far this season.

Hojbjerg has therefore been tipped to seek pastures new in search of regular game time, and The Telegraph reports that Serie A champions Napoli are among the clubs interested in recruiting the Denmark international this month.

Manager Walter Mazzarri is said to be in the market for a new defensive midfielder and has identified Hojbjerg as a possible target, while Fulham's Sasa Lukic is also on the club's radar.

Fulham themselves were credited with an interest in Hojbjerg last summer amid uncertainty over the future of Joao Palhinha, who almost left the club to join Bayern Munich.

Napoli's Serie A rivals Juventus have also been linked with Hojbjerg, who is under contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium until June 2025.

Staying in Italy and title hopefuls Inter Milan are reportedly closing in on the signing of Porto striker Medhi Taremi.

The 31-year-old has spent the last three-and-a-half years with the Portuguese giants, scoring 86 goals and providing 53 assists in 171 appearances across all competitions.

Taremi has previously been linked with a winter-window switch to Manchester United, with one report claiming that the Red Devils are lining up a €10m (£8.8m) bid for the Iran international.

However, Inter appear to at the front of the queue for Taremi's signature, as Calciomercato claims that the Nerazzurri are close to reaching an agreement to sign the striker as a free agent when his contract at Porto expires on June 30.

Taremi is currently away with Iran at the Asian Cup and was asked at a press conference about a possible move to Inter, but he replied: "Inter? It's not the right time to talk about it."

The potential arrival of Taremi at San Siro could cast doubt over the futures of attacking duo Alexis Sanchez and Marko Arnautovic, who are both out of contract in the summer.

Meanwhile, Bristol City striker Tommy Conway is reportedly wanted by as many as five British clubs.

The 21-year-old academy graduate has made a notable impression with the Championship club in recent seasons, scoring 12 goals in 38 games last season before chipping in with eight strikes in 22 matches so far this term.

Conway most recently scored the winning goal to help Bristol City beat West Ham United 1-0 in an FA Cup third-round replay at Ashton Gate on Tuesday.

According to Football Insider, Conway is on the radar of a number of Premier League clubs including Wolverhampton Wanderers, Brentford and Nottingham Forest.

Wolves are known to be in the market for a new striker this month after allowing both Sasa Kalajdzic and Fabio Silva leave the club on loan, while Brentford are thought to be eyeing up possible long-term replacements for in-demand Ivan Toney.

Conway, who has 18 months remaining on his contract at Bristol City, has also attracted interest from Scottish Premiership giants Celtic and Rangers.
