Tottenham Hotspur defender Japhet Tanganga is reportedly closing in on a loan switch to Millwall.
The 24-year-old made the move to Bundesliga outfit Augsburg last September on a season-long loan, with the German team having the option to buy him this summer.
However, Tanganga failed to make a single appearance during his time at Augsburg Arena, with his loan spell now officially coming to an end.
According to the London Evening Standard, the defender is now set to make the move to Championship outfit Millwall for the second half of the 2023-24 campaign.
Tanganga came through the youth system at Spurs, and he has made 50 appearances for the North London side in all competitions, but his contract is due to expire this summer, and the Englishman is seemingly not in the plans of Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou.

Staying in the Premier League, Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in signing FC Krasnodar forward Jhon Cordoba before the end of the January transfer window.
The 30-year-old has played for the likes of Granada, Mainz 05 and FC Koln during a well-travelled career, but he has been with Krasnodar since 2021.
Cordoba has scored 38 goals and registered 18 assists in 73 appearances for his current side, including 11 goals and four assists in 20 outings this term.
According to the London Evening Standard, Palace are keen on a loan deal for the forward this month, but they are expected to face competition from Nottingham Forest.
An option to buy will allegedly be included in the deal, should the Eagles manage to come to an agreement with the Colombia international's club.

Meanwhile, according to Football Insider, Fulham have joined the race to sign Plymouth Argyle attacker Morgan Whittaker.
The 23-year-old has been in impressive form in the Championship during the 2023-24 campaign, scoring 14 goals and registering five assists in 27 appearances.
West Ham United and Brentford have been credited with an interest in the forward, but it is being reported that Fulham are also firmly in the race for his signature.
Whittaker started his professional career with Derby County before moving to Swansea City in 2021, but he found it difficult to make his mark for the Welsh outfit and arrived at Plymouth permanently last July after a successful period on loan at the club in 2022-23.
In total, the Englishman has scored 24 goals and registered 13 assists in 60 matches for Plymouth, and he has a contract with his current side until June 2027.
