Real Madrid have reportedly won the race to sign Monaco midfielder Aurelin Tchouameni.
Having starred for his club this season, subsequently earning international recognition with France, Tchouameni has been strongly linked with a number of top European clubs.
Despite interest from Chelsea and Manchester United, Los Blancos and Liverpool have allegedly emerged as the frontrunners in recent weeks.
However, according to RMC Sport, the 22-year-old has made the decision to move to the Bernabeu for a fee in the region of £68m.
The report claims that Tchouameni has penned a five-year contract and he will now take on the challenge of trying to break into the club's star-studded midfield.
Earlier this week, Monaco sporting director Paul Mitchell acknowledged that the club's most prized asset was expected to depart for a new challenge elsewhere.
