Manchester United striker Robin van Persie is on the verge of agreeing a switch to Serie A side Lazio, according to reports.
The 31-year-old recently admitted that he was in a "difficult situation" at Old Trafford as injuries and a loss of form limited him to just 29 appearances in all competitions last term.
The situation has alerted Lazio, who are ready to agree a £10m deal to take Van Persie to Italy, reports the Daily Star.
Lazio finished third in Serie A last season, securing a place in the Champions League playoff, which could help to tempt Van Persie to the Stadio Olimpico.
