Report: Manchester United want Marc Bartra

Manchester United are reportedly interested in bringing Barcelona centre-back Marc Bartra to the Premier League in the January transfer window.

The 24-year-old has been with Barcelona since 2002, progressing through the youth side and B team before making his first-team debut in 2010.

The Spanish international has already made more than 50 La Liga appearances for the Catalan giants, but he is still not considered an automatic pick when Luis Enrique has full squad to choose from.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Man United boss Louis van Gaal will move for the defender at the start of 2016 and is confident of enticing the player to England.

Bartra was part of the Spain team that recorded a 2-0 win over England in their international friendly on November 13.
