Manchester United will reportedly recall Tom Cleverley from his loan spell at Aston Villa if the Midlands club do not sign the midfielder on a permanent deal on transfer deadline day.
The England international joined Villa on loan in the summer window and it is understood that Paul Lambert's side have the option to purchase the 24-year-old for £7m.
According to BBC Sport, United want that deal completed on Monday and could recall the player if Villa refuse to stump up the cash.
Cleverley has already represented United and indeed Villa in the Premier League this season and would therefore be unable to leave Old Trafford on loan for the remainder of the season, should Louis van Gaal recall the central midfielder.
