Manchester City are planning a summer move for Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole.

Manchester City will reportedly attempt to sign Chelsea star Ashley Cole when his contract runs out next summer.

According to the Daily Express, City will swoop for the 31-year-old after contract talks stalled between him and Chelsea.

The England international has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, however the potential sacking of Carlo Ancelotti as manager could scupper a move to France.

Although Manchester United have also been linked with him, it seems that City will be in pole position to sign Cole should he choose to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
