Paris Saint-Germain manager Carlo Ancelotti's job is reportedly safe for the time being after the Italian led his side into the knockout stages of the Champions League.

The hierarchy at Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly given manager Carlo Ancelotti more time at the Ligue 1 side after leading his team into the knockout rounds of the Champions League.

The French outfit managed to top Group A in the elite competition after securing a 2-1 win over Porto last night following speculation over the future of the ex-Chelsea boss.

It is understood that the Italian has been given some breathing space following the club's run in the Champions League, according to Le Monde.

Recent reports have claimed that PSG have begun talks with former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola over moving to Paris.
