Real Madrid have reportedly made Leonardo Bonucci their number one defensive transfer target, should Sergio Ramos depart the club this summer.
Recent speculation has suggested that Ramos, who has been linked with Manchester United, has decided to leave the Bernabeu following the supposed reluctance of president Florentino Perez to match his wage demands during recent contract negotiations.
If Ramos were to leave, Perez has identified Juventus centre-back Bonucci as the ideal replacement, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The report adds that Madrid have put aside £21.5m to sign the 28-year-old, who joined Juve from Bari five years ago.
