Report: AS Monaco open to Fabinho sale

AS Monaco inform Fabinho, who has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United, that he can leave this summer, according to a report.

AS Monaco have reportedly informed Fabinho that he is free to leave the Ligue 1 side this summer.

The 22-year-old, who has previously represented Real Madrid, is believed to be a transfer target for new Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.

At the weekend, it was claimed that the Red Devils were prepared to pay £22m for the defender as Mourinho looks to bring in a specialist right-back for the new season.

According to the Daily Mail, Monaco have already told the Brazilian international that he can leave in this transfer window if the Ligue 1 side receives an offer that matches his valuation.

Man United will continue their pre-season campaign against Borussia Dortmund in Shanghai on Friday.
