Arsenal have reportedly admitted defeat in their fight to keep Robin van Persie this summer.
The 29-year-old, who has told the club that he will not be extending his contract beyond June 2013, was booed during the Gunners' 4-0 win over FC Koln on Sunday.
Manchester United are keen on signing Van Persie and are believed to be preparing a second bid for the player.
According to The Sun, Arsenal were previously adamant that Van Persie would not be moving to Old Trafford for a penny less than £25m. However, the North Londoners have now lowered their demands because they fear that the Dutchman could be a disruptive influence if he is not sold.
Van Persie appeared in all 38 of Arsenal's Premier League matches last season, scoring 30 goals.
