Manchester United have reportedly moved closer to securing the long-term future of forward Marcus Rashford.
At a time when Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku continue to be linked with moves away from Old Trafford, United have been looking to hand a new contract to academy graduate Rashford.
There were initial suggestions that the 21-year-old was prepared to bide his time, aware that he would not be short of offers the longer that he left committing his future to the North-West giants.
However, according to The Times, Rashford is now happy to extend his stay at United by penning a deal which will come with a significant pay rise.
The England international has allegedly been demanding terms worth £300,000 per week, although it is unclear whether United have decided to accept the frontman's request.
Rashford currently has one year remaining on his existing contract, with United holding an option for an extra 12 months.
