Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has reportedly instructed staff members at the club to actively pursue a deal for Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani.
Lionel Messi has departed the French champions on a free transfer this summer, while there remains speculation surrounding Kylian Mbappe's future at the club.
Al-Khelaifi has insisted that Mbappe will not be allowed to leave on a free transfer next June, so the France international could be sold this summer if he refuses to sign a new contract.
PSG have been heavily linked with Napoli's Victor Osimhen, but it is believed that the Nigerian is valued by his club in the region of £150m, which makes a summer move unlikely.
Kolo Muani has also been linked with a switch to Paris, and according to L'Equipe, the France international has emerged as the club's number one target in the final third of the field.

The report claims that the PSG president has asked staff members at the club to approach the forward to discuss a move during the current market.
Manchester United are also being credited with an interest in Kolo Muani, with Frankfurt thought to be willing to listen to offers of around £80m for him during the summer window.
The 24-year-old was in impressive form for his German club during the 2022-23 campaign, scoring 23 goals and registering 17 assists in 46 appearances in all competitions.
Kolo Muani started his professional career in France with Nantes, representing the club on 87 occasions, scoring 23 goals and providing 16 assists ahead of his move to German football.

However, the forward recently played down suggestions that he could return to France with PSG, suggesting that he would rather make the move to the Premier League.
"It's not just because you come from the Parisian region and grow up there that you should automatically play for PSG," he told Canal Football Club.
"Honestly, who doesn't dream of playing in the Premier League? It's one of the best leagues that exists. You dream about it. These are childhood dreams."
Kolo Muani has scored once in nine appearances for France, and he is expected to be a key part of their team at next summer's European Championship, should the national side qualify.
PSG confirmed the arrival of Milan Skriniar on a free transfer on Thursday morning, with the defender signing a five-year deal in Paris after leaving Inter Milan on a free transfer.
