Paul Pogba is reportedly happy to stay at Manchester United this summer if current interim manager Ralf Rangnick is appointed on a permanent basis.

Paul Pogba has reportedly made it known that he is happy to stay at Manchester United this summer if current interim manager Ralf Rangnick is appointed on a permanent basis.

The Frenchman is yet to feature under Rangnick since he was awarded the temporary managerial position due to an ongoing injury, after the German took over from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in December.

With the 28-year-old's contract set to expire in the summer, speculation over Pogba's future has been ongoing for over 12 months, and it had recently been reported that Paris Saint-Germain were at the front of the queue to sign the World Cup winner on a free transfer in June.

However, according to The Sun, Pogba has been so impressed by Rangnick's vision to build a squad around him if he stays at Old Trafford beyond the summer, that it has persuaded him to sign a new deal at United.

After returning to United for around £89m in 2016, Pogba has gone on to make 146 Premier League appearances, registering 28 goals and 36 assists during this time.

Pogba looks set to make his first appearance under Rangnick in early February, which will be his first taste of action since the 2-2 draw at Atalanta back in November.
