Andreas Pereira wants to leave Manchester United in order to realise his dream of turning out for Brazil at the 2022 World Cup, according to a report.

Andreas Pereira has reportedly accepted that he will have to leave Manchester United in order to realise his dream of turning out for Brazil at the 2022 World Cup.

Pereira has spent each of the last two seasons on loan in Spain, representing Granada during the 2016-17 campaign before playing 29 times for Valencia last term.

The 22-year-old returned to United this summer following conversations with Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho, but he has only started twice for the club this season.

The midfielder earned his first Brazil cap in September, and according to Yahoo, his desire to represent the South American nation at the 2022 World Cup could see him leave Old Trafford in search of first-team football.

Pereira, who will see his contract with United expire at the end of the current season, has been left out of Mourinho's squad for the team's last three Premier League matches.
