David Moyes "confident" Adnan Januzaj will sign new Manchester United deal

David Moyes is "confident" that youngster Adnan Januzaj will sign a new contract at Manchester United, despite reported interest from Manchester City.

Manchester United manager David Moyes expects youngster Adnan Januzaj to remain at Old Trafford, despite reports that rivals Manchester City are interested in the winger.

The 18-year-old, who made his Premier League debut during United's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday, is believed to be a target for City if the teen fails to agree a new contract with the Red Devils.

"I am confident he will sign a new contract," the Daily Star quotes Moyes as saying.

Moyes is currently preparing for his first Champions League game in charge of United when the North-West outfit host Bayer Leverkusen at Old Trafford this evening.
