Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keeping tabs on Sampdoria defender Joachim Andersen.
Andersen has established himself as a regular in Sampdoria's starting lineup this season, playing every minute of their Serie A campaign so far.
The 22-year-old's form is understood to have caught the attention of a number of Premier League teams, and Calciomercato reports that United and Spurs are currently leading the race for his signature.
Both clubs sent scouts to watch Andersen during his side's 1-1 derby draw with Genoa on Sunday and are considering making an offer during the January transfer window.
United in particular are looking to bolster their defensive line after failing to strengthen in that area during the summer, while Spurs have concerns over the long-term future of contract rebel Toby Alderweireld.
Andersen joined Sampdoria for just £1.25m in 2017, but the Italian outfit are thought to have set a £25m asking price for the Denmark Under-21 international.
