Sampdoria defender Joachim Andersen has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs are well-stocked for players who can play in central defence, but there is currently a doubt over the future of Toby Alderweireld.
The departure of the Belgium international would leave Spurs requiring a replacement, and according to Tuttomercatoweb, there is interest in Andersen.
The 22-year-old has allegedly been scouted by the Premier League outfit, and that could lead to an approach being made either in January or in the summer.
Andersen has only made a total of 17 appearances in all competitions since the start of last season, but nine of those outings have come during the current campaign.
There are just under three years remaining on Andersen's contract.
