Manchester United are on the verge of signing Valenciennes teenager Dayot Upamecano, according to reports.
The 16-year-old helped France win the Under-17 European Championship earlier this year and is considered to be one of the hottest prospects in world football.
According to Italian publication TuttoMercatoWeb, Upamecano has agreed personal terms at Old Trafford and will officially sign after a compensation fee, believed to be in the region of £700,000, has been settled.
Arsenal and Manchester City are also said to have made contact with the defender's representatives in recent months.
