Manchester United have reportedly signed 16-year-old defender Dayot Upamecano from French side Valenciennes.
The youngster had also impressed AS Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain, both of whom were thought to be weighing up moves.
However, United have won the race and have paid compensation in the region of £340,000 to the Ligue 2 club, according to The Metro.
Those figures could rise to £700,000 depending on bonuses.
The centre-back has been capped by France at Under-16 and Under-17 level.
