Manchester United are planning to move for Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland next summer despite signing Cristiano Ronaldo in the final stages of the recent transfer window.
Ronaldo penned a two-year deal at Old Trafford and has started his second spell with three goals in two appearances for the 20-time English champions.
There had been suggestions that the Portugal international's arrival would end Man United's chances of signing Haaland from Dortmund next summer.
However, according to The Express, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side want to sign the 21-year-old to play alongside Ronaldo during the 2022-23 campaign.
Haaland has started the new season in impressive fashion, scoring nine times and contributing four assists in seven appearances in all competitions.
The Norway international will have a £68m release clause in his contract next summer, and the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City are also expected to battle for his services.
Haaland has found the back of the net on 66 occasions in 66 appearances for BVB since making the move from Red Bull Salzburg in January 2020.
