Manchester United are reportedly planning to do away with as many as seven players in the January transfer window.
The Red Devils sent shockwaves in the most recent transfer window with the re-signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, while Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane also represented impressive coups for the Red Devils.
However, big-name outgoings were few and far between for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, with Sergio Romero's exit and Daniel James's move to Leeds United standing out amid several loan exits.
With United thought to be plotting a big-money move for either Declan Rice or Jude Bellingham in the summer of 2022, The Sun claims that seven out-of-favour players could be offloaded in the next transfer window.
The report claims that Donny van de Beek, Jesse Lingard, Diogo Dalot, Phil Jones, Eric Bailly, Anthony Martial and Alex Telles could all leave, with United set to sit down with each player to discuss their futures before the end of the calendar year.
Lingard was expected to complete a permanent move to West Ham United this summer, although Solskjaer recently claimed that the Red Devils are in talks with the attacker over a new contract.
