Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of announcing the signing of former Newcastle United goalkeeper Paul Woolston.
Woolston has been on trial with United since September, with the Red Devils seeking competition for Under-23 goalkeepers Matej Kovar and Alex Fojticek.
According to Manchester Evening News, Woolston has impressed United's coaching staff since starting his trial period, and the 20-year-old will now sign a contract until the end of the campaign.
Woolston, who has represented England at Under-17 and Under-18 level, was released by Newcastle at the end of last season.
United will attempt to return to winning ways when they welcome Everton to Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
