Manchester United have reportedly informed Cristiano Ronaldo that they expect him to attend the club's pre-season tour.
After returning to Old Trafford last summer, Ronaldo scored 24 goals for the Red Devils in the 2021-22 campaign.
However, the Portugal international has asked to leave the club if a suitable offer is received this summer, with the player keen to play Champions League football next season.
According to the Daily Mail, United have told Ronaldo that he must attend the pre-season tour of Australia and Thailand even if he does leave United in the current transfer window.
The 37-year-old is expected to return to training on Monday, with Erik ten Hag's squad then set to fly out on Friday for the two-and-a-half week tour.
Man United are set to play three fellow Premier League sides, beginning with a friendly against rivals Liverpool in Thailand before facing Crystal Palace and Aston Villa in Australia.
