Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a January move for Atletico Madrid defender Kieran Trippier.
After a successful stint at Wanda Metropolitano, the England international has been tipped to return to the Premier League next month.
Newcastle United are allegedly regarded as the frontrunners to sign the 31-year-old, the Magpies having no issues with meeting Atletico's valuation which is believed to be in the region of £20m as a result of his contract expiring in the summer.
However, according to 90 min, a further eight clubs are in the running for Trippier, including Man United and Spurs.
While United have been keen to strengthen their options at right-back for a number of windows, Spurs are open to a reunion with a player that they sold in 2019.
The report claims that Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers have also identified Trippier as a potential target.
