Manchester United are willing to sell Scott McTominay this summer for a fee of between £25m and £30m, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly willing to sell central midfielder Scott McTominay during this summer's transfer window for a fee of between £25m and £30m.

The Scotland international has been with Man United since the age of five, progressing through the various youth teams before making his first-team debut in 2017.

McTominay has been a regular at Old Trafford over the last six seasons, representing the club on 198 occasions in all competitions, contributing 18 goals and five assists in the process.

The 26-year-old has made 28 appearances for Erik ten Hag's side this season, meanwhile, including 16 in the Premier League, but he has only started on seven occasions in the league in 2022-23.

Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Bruno Fernandes and Fred are all ahead of McTominay in the pecking order for the midfield spots, and the Scot was linked with a January exit.

McTominay returned from a muscular injury against Leicester City in the Premier League on February 19, and he has since featured against Barcelona, Newcastle United and West Ham United.

However, Man United are believed to be planning to move for another midfielder this summer, with Barcelona's Frenkie de Jong said to be their leading target in that area of the field.

As a result, McTominay could allegedly depart in search of first-team football, with a number of Premier League clubs said to be interested in his signature.

According to 90min, Man United would want a fee of between £25m and £30m for the midfielder, who has another two years left to run on his contract at Old Trafford, with the option of an additional year.

The report claims that Newcastle, West Ham, Everton, Southampton, Leeds United and Leicester are all keeping a close eye on the situation.

West Ham, Everton, Southampton and Leeds are all currently involved in a relegation battle, though, so any decision on McTominay's future is unlikely to be made until the campaign has finished.

Fred has benefited from Eriksen's ankle injury to become a regular in recent weeks, with the Brazilian impressing alongside Casemiro and Fernandes in midfield.

The 20-time English champions will be bidding to make it five straight victories in all competitions when they head to Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
