Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly determined to bring West Ham United forward Marko Arnautovic to Old Trafford during the January transfer window.
United dropped more Premier League points on Saturday as they were held to a goalless draw by Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils are now seven points off the top four in the Premier League table, despite Mourinho insisting that his team would be in the Champions League positions by the end of 2018.
Arnautovic has been strongly linked with a move away from West Ham in recent weeks, and according to The Mirror, United are 'preparing a bid in excess of £50m' for the 29-year-old.
The Austria international, who played under Mourinho at Inter Milan, has scored 16 Premier League goals for West Ham since his arrival from Stoke City in the summer of 2017.
Earlier this month, it was reported that West Ham would turn down any January bids for Arnautovic.
